Its Mark Speights problem that he commited suicide. Not ours. Not the SMart cast either. They should encourage children that commiting suicide is WRONG, even if they don't like life.

i havent watched smart for ages, but when i was younger i used to LOVE it. and now 2 of them are dead the other presenter from when i watched it died of cancer, didnt he? a few months ago.
i think its much better not to tell kids how he died. theres plently of time for them to realise the effects of drugs later. its young kids that was that show and it’d be traumatising for them. im 17 and i was upset, even though i know he’d had a really bad time lately and everything.
i’m sure theyl comment whilst watching it that hes missing, then their parents can tell them about the dangers of drug abuse in whichever way they think suitable.

simply because many of them r way too young to understand about drugs, they dont even know who they r inside yet let alone understand how a mind altering substance works.
i agree that they should be told something though, they should be made aware that he has died but explained in a nice way that wont scare them. many children can deal well with death & can go some way to understanding the person is not coming back.
